SETH GLASSER, PRESIDENT

 

Seth Glasser has been the President of Glasser Development, LLC, since 2014. He personally manages all aspects of land acquisition, project financing, home and site planning, builder and vendor selection, and overall project management. He holds an MBA in Management from Cornell University and a BA in Economics from Hamilton College.

 

Seth cut his teeth for 23 years in the junk bond market on Wall Street, as a research analyst covering the Homebuilding, Real Estate, Financial Institutions, and Insurance sectors. Over his multi-decade career, he was employed by the world-class hedge fund Millennium Partners for 9 years, Barclays Bank for 9 years, and Deutsche Bank for 5 years. While at Barclays, he was ranked as a top national research analyst by Institutional Investor magazine.

 

Seth’s intimate study and analysis of the Homebuilding and REIT industries gave him a robust understanding of the real estate development business. It also taught him that residential property development was really his passion. On an analyst trip to Scottsdale, AZ, to tour developments by several homebuilding companies, Seth’s “ah-ha moment” came during a stop at an ultra exclusive Toll Brothers vacation home community. There, it dawned on Seth that his true calling was to develop high-end vacation properties. Standing there looking at the Toll Brothers model home, he knew he could put out a better, more bespoke product than the large national builders. And what better place to focus than the object of his youth as a New Jersey native: Long Beach Island!

 

With great attention to detail on an individualized project by project basis, the dream has become a reality.
